Abdissa

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Abdissa. Abdissa works for our adoption agency over in Ethiopia and he is our main contact over there. This was his first trip to the states and since our agency is based out of Bellingham, WA we were able to drive up to meet him. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about him from other families who have completed their adoptions. They have commented that it is very obvious that he is passionate about the children and how much love he has for all of them. He is the one who will be with Roland every step of the way while he is over there. I especially wanted to meet him to ask him about Noah. It sounds like Noah is very strong willed and has a good set of lungs. It also sounds like he is a big boy for his age, which is what we thought from the pictures.

And finally, we have travel dates!  Roland booked his ticket last night and will be flying out April 23. With the travel time and time change he will be landing in Ethiopia at 12:30am on April 25. So that will be the day he gets to hold our SON for the very first time. I am so jealous. I have to wait until their return on May 3 to hold him, but it is so great to finally have a set date. T minus 34 days and counting!!!!! We love you Noah and your daddy is coming to get you.
