Abdissa

We made the short jaunt up to Ferndale this morning to go to our adoption agency since Abdissa is in town visiting.  Abdissa lives in Ethiopia and is the main correspondence between adoptive parents and their waiting children.  It has been said by all that have observed him over there that his love for the children is easily seen.  Although I wasn't able to make the journey with Roland to Ethiopia almost 2 1/2 years ago to witness it, that love still shined through today.  He didn't hesitate to get down and sweep Noah up into his arms.  Noah, however, wasn't so sure but was very polite.  Luckily I had been preparing Noah for this visit and explained to him who Abdissa was.  When I quizzed him this morning he very accurately explained to me that Absissa loved him very much when he was a baby in Ethiopia.
