Brooke loves dancing. When we go to music class she lights up and really gets into all the movements. So I decided to look into putting her into dance classes. I found a class for 3 -4 year olds and since Brooke turns 3 next month and is very coordinated for her age I thought for sure she would be fine. I was wrong. In music class, I sit with her and we go through the singing and movements together, but with this class she had to do it independently with me on the sidelines. Everything was going well for the first 2 minutes but then 5 minutes in we realized she's not quite ready for this. After comforting her and wiping away her tears, we left so we wouldn't disturb the rest of the class. They have a mommy and me class that they recommend we take to help transition her in. But at least we finally had an excuse to put her in the dance outfit Grandma Wark couldn't resist buying for her at a clearance price of $4. She looked too stinkin' cute in it.
